I have not written anything this month on Black history and the relation to conservative politics. A part of that is the fact that I am not sure if I am the most qualified to talk about such topics…but I do know a little bit. Today I thought I would share a link to a Wallbuilders document that pulls out the civil rights elements of the two major political parties’ platforms from 1840 to 1964. Pretty cool if you like history…although if you are a democrat you might not think so. It does give hope. Perhaps in the future the Democratic Party will change their positions on things equally as heinous, such as abortion.
