Unfortunately your dollars have been doing it for years with federal funding to organizations such as Planned Parenthood as well as funding for China’s one child policy. But this funding of abortion is directly related to Obamacare. In both Pennsylvania and New Mexico, Obamacare has funded high risk insurance pools that include the abortion procedure. So much for that executive order. The links from the National Review above describe in a little more detail how this has come about. It also proves that Obama and his liberal friends were lying to the American people when they said your tax dollars would not be used for abortions.
It brings to mind the slavery debate throughout history, not as a comparison of the two evils, but rather a comparison of who supported it and how it is now perceived. Early anti-Christian writers such as Edward Gibbon, David Hume, and Immanuel Kant supported slavery while Christians fought against it. In America it was the liberal block that fought against the civil rights movement. Of course it is now considered to be an unthinkable evil. In another 50 years, how much more evil will we consider the practice of abortion, which is supported by these same groups. Something to think about.
