The primary is an important vehicle for the people to influence their government so I hope everyone does get out and vote.

On a different topic, I did have a much less important random thought creep into my head this morning.  Hollywood seems to be full of people who criticize America’s free market society; they ridicule those who do not believe in trickle up economics (socialism).  But have you ever noticed how much these people resemble the big corporate executives that they supposedly despise.  They make outrageous salaries for being the face of an organization, while those little guys who do the dirty work that is necessary to make the movie earn so much less.  I was wondering why, if they truly believe what they themselves proclaim, do they not spread out the money so everyone gets a “fair” amount.  And why if they truly care for the needy, do they not give more to the needy instead of to politicians.  Just a thought.
