This is just one quote from thousands of emails that were hacked from the climate research unit at the University of East Anglia. These emails basically illustrate how global warming alarmists have manipulated data, prevented the release of data that counters their theory, and their attempts to push out and discredit scientists who were not part of the plan. These were the top people influencing climate policy to include Gavin Schmidt, an ally of Al Gore’s right hand man Dr. James Hansen. These scientists have major influence in the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) who have released these alarmist reports on global warming.
But despite all of this, it is hardly being covered by US media outlets. Even though liberals want everyone to ignore it, it is not going away. It’s even got a name, “Climategate.” Here is a fairly decent article that I found in the UK’s Telegraph that explains who is involved and why it is important.
This scandal should not really come as a surprise to any non kool-aid drinking types. The last report put out by the IPCC was refuted by those scientists who were not allowed to voice their findings in the report itself. Over 600 of them. It should also not surprise people that the IPCC’s response was much like ACORN’s. Their head, Rajendra Pachauri, made a statement saying that “an independent inquiry into the emails would achieve little, but there should be a criminal investigation into how the emails came to light.”(from Guardian ) Yes, lets investigate the hacker, not the scandal he has uncovered. That would be very damaging to their cause. He followed his shallow defense by saying that this scandal would not affect the IPCC’s objectives noting that Obama gave his assurances that the US would cut its greenhouse gases 5 days after the emails were leaked. Not really a great example Pachauri. How about picking an administration whose EPA did not try to suppress information damaging to the alarmists’ agenda.
Of course, the White House is in complete denial over this scandal. Robert Gibbs said that despite all the evidence recently revealed, “climate change is happening”. Notice the word climate change instead of “warming”. The earth has been cooling off for the last decade so they have to change their tactics. He also said the following referring to the ‘climate change’ above. ”I don’t think that’s anything that is, quite frankly, among most people, in dispute anymore.” Another statement of denial. For many years liberals have been flocking to the environmental front to push their socialistic agenda. They are now fighting with all of their might to keep this information from the people. Information that can bring down their master plan.
