Organizing for America, Barack Obama’s campaign organization, is holding a video contest. One of the finalists includes a video where an American flag is being spray painted onto a building and then is desecrated with graffiti before being according to Politico “ultimately obliterated.” This organization is run by top Obama political advisers David Plouffe and Mitch Stewart.
This is the same organization that made the following post on its website for 9/11 urging its members to call their representatives
“All 50 States are coordinating in this - as we fight back against our own Right-Wing Domestic Terrorists who are subverting the American Democratic Process, whipped to a frenzy by their Fox Propaganda Network ceaselessly re-seizing power for their treacherous leaders.”
Bringing America together huh. What America?
This is the same organization that Obama uses regularly to get his word out. After all, it is his organization. It is a major part of Obama’s perpetual campaigning. Why he still needs a campaign organization in the first place is beyond me, but I do think it is time for him to move on and start leading the country. It is time that he understands that this is not a popularity contest. That is not what being a leader is about. I also wander if this will be enough to throw someone else under the bus. The 9/11 statement was not.
