The world loves weak American leaders

October 13, 2009

It seems a bit obvious to me, but I will go ahead and say it.  When world leaders heap praise upon Obama, it is not necessarily a good thing for America.  Take the Nobel Prize.  Awarding Obama the Nobel Peace Prize for giving a few speeches is pretty ridiculous.  The mounting criticism after the announcement led the NPP Chairman to publicly defend their choice.  Their defense did not help matters much.  Geir Lundestad said they hoped the award would help advance Obama’s agenda.  This statement just verifies what many have thought for some time.  The NPP committee is using this award as a political tool to advance the ideals of the European left.  Think of the other notable Americans given the award recently.  Al Gore, the global warming fanatic.  And hypocrite I might add.  The man who has refused to publicly debate global warming ever since the release of his documentary despite numerous challenges.  Last week they turned the mic off when a reporter started to question the documented inaccuracies in Al Gore’s film.  Giving him the award is important not only because of global warming, but global warming enthusiasts’ ties to socialism.  For some time now environmental issues have been an avenue for socialists to get their policies into government.  So much so that Socialists International created a climate group.  Carol Browner was one of their leaders until Obama appointed her to the global warming czar position.  Then there was Jimmy Carter, arguably (until this President) the worst American President ever.  Maybe it was the past weakening of our Armed Forces that aided The Nobel Committee’s future decision to give him his award.

I thought Representative Gresham Barrett put it pretty bluntly.

“I’m not sure what the international community loved best: his waffling on Afghanistan, pulling defense missiles out of Eastern Europe, turning his back on freedom fighters in Honduras, coddling Castro, siding with Palestinians against Israel, or almost getting tough on Iran,”

It is true.  The international community loves a weak American President because it makes them stronger.  They love that Obama is moving us more towards socialism because as Dick Morris pointed out, socialism cannot compete with capitalism.  Capitalism will always win.  I am sure they also love how Obama’s economic policies are weakening the dollar to its breaking point.  Once again making the Euroworld stronger.

Just like Carter, Obama has been on the wrong side with just about every decision he has made.  Hopefully it will create the same end result.  A short tenure in the White House and a resurgence of an educated conservative majority.
