Could you help the couple in the picture above get financing for an illegal brothel? Without laughing, that is? Well, ACORN did in 3 separate cities. Not only that, but they gave them advice on how to launder their earnings. Unfortunately for ACORN James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles are no real pimp and prostitute combo, they are conservative activists acting in an undercover role. A NY Post article reported on the latest video of Brooklyn staffers getting caught in their illegal activities, but staffers in Baltimore and Washington D.C. have also been busted. Although not a funny matter, I cannot help but to laugh. I mean how stupid can these people be. Just look at the picture again. The corruption of this Alinsky-aligned organization is enough to bar any government funding, but with these revelations, I say they are also too stupid to be handle any kind of money…even the monopoly kind.
On a serious note, despite the fact that only one major news agency is actually covering this controversy, the Census Bureau has finally pulled the plug on allowing ACORN to help with the census in 2010 and the Senate blocked funding to the organization. But do not get too excited. The House of Representatives already approved funding in their bill so funding will likely slip through the cracks unnoticed. Politicians have a way with those kinds of things.

As ever, Steady, you write these things with a level calm that tends to help me simmer down from the boiling point I find myself now often by midweek in Obamaworld. ANY midweek, since each week brings new Obama-oriented outrages.
Can you but imagine the coast to coast and wall to wall coverage of this item were it to have emanated from a Republican-backed group– rather than ACORN? How, I frequently wonder, will we surmount or at least contain the left in a nation in which journalism has essentially ceased to be, but for a relatively tiny percentage of outlets and brave enterprising individuals.
I award this glorious “pimp and prostitue” some offshoot of the Medal of Honor for their service for our country. Hope I’m not stepping on any military toes with that remark.
Hopefully our free market will force the media to once again do their jobs. With failing ratings maybe it will force them in order to stay in business…that is of course if Obama does not give them a bailout like he hinted at a couple of days.
I do remember how they went after Palin during the campaign, but ignored Obama. The same is the case for ACORN. Where were the investigative reporters on this. The corruption is so obvious that the only answer is they are purposely ignoring it because it is a liberal group. Do keep the pimp and prostitute in your prayers though. The word I received is that their families are on pins and needles right now…especially the girl’s. Hopefully the media atttention now will keep ACORN from doing something stupid, but who knows.
