It started with Obama when he advised Republicans to stop listening to Limbaugh if they wanted to get along with Democrats and the administration. In other words, if you want to get along with me, don’t be conservative. Obama was probably just upset that Limbaugh has brought to light all the wasteful spending and payoffs in the economic stimulus. That or he is just trying to drive a wedge between the different sects of the Republican Party. It has nothing to do with bipartisanship and everything to do with quieting and intimidating those who dissent.
But now the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has gotten into the fight. They have launched an online petition for readers to express their outrage at Rush.
They say “Creating real change requires every American stand strong against Rush Limbaugh’s attacks — and all of the other partisan attacks from desperate Republicans”, but I do not think the Republicans are the desperate ones. Remember this attack came after every single Republican and 11 Democrats voted against all the pork in the stimulus.
So what do the liberals do after accusing Republicans of being partisan? Why they launch attack ads of course.
Liberal groups to include Moveon.org and even labor unions are currently airing ads saying are you with Obama or with Rush. They accuse House Republicans of playing partisan politics by not voting for the creation of “4 million new jobs” (never mind the 700 Billion in Pork). This is nothing more than mob style tactics to intimidate Republican Senators. They are state specific and are calling out Senators by name.
This is the new politics of the Obama era. Pay to play and intimidation. Using popularity to say one thing and do another.
First, I have to question why Obama (The President) would go after Limbaugh (Radio talk show host). Second, if he went after him because he felt that he was breeding partisanship, why has be not spoken out against the labor unions and moveon.org. The answer is pretty obvious…He is mad.
He thought this was Chicago and no one would notice all the liberal pet projects included in the stimulus. This is a crisis after all. Who would have time to go through it all. This should be a wake up call to Americans. Bipartisan now means you are either with me or against me.

Obama is stupid. He can attack a lot of conservatives. There are a lot of targets but to go after Rush is so stupid. I would say Rush is maybe the most powerful conservative every. Obama only aids Rush’s cause by calling him out. Obama is limited in what he can say because he is president. Rush on the other hand the American public won’t allow anyone to take the microphone out of his hands.
Most definitely agree. Pretty dumb move by Obama. If anything he is going to unify conservatives.
One positive I have seen thus far from Obama’s election is that most Republicans seem to be going back to their conservative roots as seen by the stimulus package.
Don’t forget to vote LIBERALS out next election.
