The Global Warming Hoax

December 15, 2008

The UN global warming conference is meeting in Poland right now and ready to release a report about global warming.  The report in 2007 released by the UN IPCC and former Vice President Al Gore basically concluded that we are responsible for the majority of global warming.

Even this year one of the scientists at the UN IPCC said the following, “The skeptics are doing a good job because they are making us present ironclad proof”.  He followed this by saying “since that battle is over, scientists need to move on and look at the detailed impact of climate change.”

Well, over 650 dissenting scientists do not exactly agree.  They include Nobel Prize Winner for Physics Ivar Giaever, and Dr. Joanne Simpson, described as among the most preeminent scientists of the last 100 years.

These 650 plus scientists have been looking over the scientific evidence and say that it just does not add up to what the UN IPCC and Al Gore are saying.  Many of them equate it to nothing more than politics.

This group of scientists will release another report to counter the UN as they did in 2007,  only this time it will have 650 scientists backing it; 250 more than last year.  And the main evidence against the UN’s team?  The earth is not getting warmer.  Kind of obvious.

But there are other problems as well.  First of all, the sun is responsible for at least 50% of global warming and recent analysis show it could account for as much as 69% of the increase of temperature.  The IPCC’s model does not even take solar events into consideration.  Based solely on this information, the UN’s conclusions are false.

Another important piece of information these global warming alarmists forgot to mention is that when the Soviet Union fell in 1990, many weather stations went with them and these stations were in some of the coldest parts of the world, Siberia.  In fact, the number of weather stations went from 15,000 in 1970 to 5,000 in 2000.

I have already shown how Al Gore’s role as a global warming alarmist is nothing more than an attempt to get back at George Bush and other conservatives.  A British court has even concluded that the Documentary that won Al Gore a Nobel Prize was based upon false assertions that were not backed up by scientific evidence.  Now it appears that many distinguished scientists are backing away from this alarmist point of view.  They do not want to be a part of the embarrassment that is sure to come when people realize it was all based on politics and not science.

All this being said, reducing our emissions is a good goal to have, but it is important to keep it in perspective.  We want to live in a healthy world and we want future generations to do so as well, but to say that the world is coming to an end because of our increased emissions is just not true and is not supported by science.  It is in fact a Hoax.
