One of the people that got re-elected this year was John Murtha. He is a person who I believe should not be in public office and I would be pretty embarrassed if I was a Pennsylvania voter. This is a man who called the Haditha marines “cold blooded killers” before the investigation was even completed. Then when they were acquitted, he never bothered to apologize to these men. Instead, he tried to take the credit for an investigation being initiated.
He then went ahead and called his constituents rednecks and racists and they still elect him. Like I said. Embarrassing. Embarrassing that he was re-elected and embarrassing that we have these kinds of people representing our country. At least he is now facing a defamation lawsuit from one of these Marines.
By the way. I am still waiting on the response to my letter I sent to his office a year ago. Here it is again if you have not read it.
