Poor Leadership

July 24, 2008

Last week House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called President Bush a total failure.  It isn’t a complete surprise.  It is one of the Democrats only talents.  That is blaming others.  It turns out Ms. Pelosi was simply upset that this congress under her leadership has not passed a single spending bill.  This is the main job of congress.  These bills keep the government going and it is their responsibility.  Considering the Democrats have the majority there is absolutely no excuse but she still somehow tried to blame Bush….I would explain how….but it didn’t make any sense.

Personal attacks such as these are simply a sign of poor leadership.  Liberals in politics are notorious for blaming someone else when things go wrong and taking credit when times are good.  Al Gore even claimed he created the internet despite the fact that most the pieces were put into place by 1977; before he even entered congress.

I know it pains some, but I am a huge Longhorn fan.  Yes, not all Horns are hippies.  Say what you want about my team, but Mack Brown is a great leader.  I learned this by listening to him every Thursday morning on the radio while stationed at Ft. Hood.  After every win he credited the play of his team and after every loss he always took the blame no matter how hard the host tried to convince him otherwise.

You don’t see this kind of leadership….this kind of change from the Obama campaign or any other democrat for that matter.

They blame Bush for high gas prices but refuse to open up domestic land for oil exploration.  They also blame Bush for global warming.  It seems global warming did not exist except for the last 8 years.  Al Gore would have made it his number one priority during the Clinton Administration but he was too busy creating the internet.

All this blame game does is take the focus off the real problem.  Congress, and their inability to do their job.
