So we have this promise from Barack Obama that he will only raise taxes on the wealthy because he cares about the middle class who are overtaxed. Then why has he voted twice in favor of the Democrats 2009 Budget that would raise the tax rate by 3% for the 25%, 28%, and 35% bracket. In case you are wondering, the 25% tax bracket starts at income of $31,850. Maybe my definition of wealthy is skewed. The budget also will hit 20 million middle class Americans with the AMT tax after next year if it is not modified. As always, I don’t pretend to come up with all this cool guy information on my own so here is the link.
Once again it was brought to Obama’s attention by the radical right what he voted for so he immediately downplayed its significance. This wasn’t a vote on taxes but rather just guidelines for a budget….it was like a practice vote I guess.
There are many theories on why Obama does what he does. I am sticking to my theory of stupidity. He thinks you, the American public, are too stupid to realize or too lazy to inform yourself on how he actually votes on issues and will just continue to listen to his beautiful words of change. The only problem is he isn’t changing politics, just your tax rate.

hi chris. i met your mom and dad last night at the Monk reunion. your mom told me a little about you and i was very impressed. seems like us older folks are out of touch with what is taking place in todays elections. how in the world can anyone vote on a person who has only 143 days of on the job training? if the company i retired with appointed someone to run the compamy with 143 days on the job, i would have moved on to another company, before the said company went belly up.
it appears to me that the only young people who know what is about to happen, are somewhere down the line, knowledgable to the military way life.
