Al Gore Exposed

June 26, 2008

A day after An Inconvenient Truth was released by Al Gore; the Tennessee Center for Policy Research released its findings that Al Gore’s personal home used 20 times more electricity than the average American household.  Of course, the media completely ignored this fact.  Despite this; however, Mr. Gore hurriedly went to work to make his home supposedly more energy efficient.  Now, once again Al Gore has been exposed for what he is, a hypocrite.  The same group has now released data that shows his home now uses 10% more energy than it did before.  Here are the numbers.

 Al Gore’s Energy Usage

17,768 kWh average per month

213,210 kWh last year

To put this into perspective, the average American household uses 11,040 kWh in an entire year.  That means the electricity needed just for Al Gore’s home could power about 230 homes for an entire month, or what he uses in one month could power a home for an entire year.

Now I have always known that his crusade for Global Warming Awareness was more than a calling.  It was a political stunt of a sore loser driven by revenge and money.  How do I know this.  First of all, he talks about the election and how he should have been President in the documentary (this is 7 years later, mind you).  He also makes accusations that scientists were intimidated by the Bush Administration to play down the effects of Global Warming.  This is just an outright lie as there are scientists that support both sides, although more and more are coming to the realization that global warming is an issue that needs to be addressed, but is not the panicked crisis Al Gore tries to portray.  The third reason is as simple as money.  Gore has seen his personal wealth increase by an estimated $100 million.  He knew many liberals would follow him blindly after the election just because of their disdain for Bush and his family’s involvement in the oil industry.  It was a topic that he could continue to attack the Bush Administration with, which in turn led to high fees just to hear him speak.

The worst part of this whole ordeal is that the documentary that won him an Academy Award and led to his Nobel Prize was based almost entirely on false information. False information that was never even questioned by the media when the documentary came out. A British court ruled that there were 9 inaccuracies that were not supported by science, could not be proved, or were just flat out lies.  But there were more inaccuracies than just these nine as the court only looked at a sampling of the data presented during the court case.  The Science and Public Policy Institute found 35 inaccuracies in the documentary.  This does not even count the fact that the melting ice-bergs shown were not from the artic, but rather were computer generated shots taken from the movie ˜Day After Tomorrow’.

All of this shows Al Gore is exactly what I thought he was.  A hypocrite.  A sore loser.  And a man who will do anything to get what he wants.
